SIBs.CO hosted the first International Pay for Results Congress in Bogota, where experts and national authorities gathered to discuss the advancements and opportunities presented by pay-for-performance approaches in contributing to the country’s and the region’s social and economic development.
During this event, we had the opportunity to share the insights, discussions, and knowledge accumulated from years of implementing Social Impact Bonds and Pay-for-Performance mechanisms in Colombia and neighboring countries with over 200 participants from both the public and private sectors.
At SIBs.CO, we perceive these mechanisms as tools for public innovation that can effectively and transparently allocate available resources to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The perspectives of international guests and panelists played a crucial role in fostering the Pay-for-Performance ecosystem and attracting new stakeholders, including public entities, private investors, foundations, and companies interested in enhancing their ability to pay for results.
