In the closing event of “Lo Embarazoso Es No Hablarlo,” organized by Tirando X Colombia and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Siegrid Holler, Partner at Instiglio, presented a series of strategies to accelerate the impact of social programs through collaboration between governments, the private sector, NGOs, and international organizations.
“When we talk about results and impact, we refer to indicators that seek behavioral changes and improvements in specific measures. Results-based financing has great potential for addressing teenage pregnancy and other sectors because by focusing on impact, it reduces barriers to funding for innovative organizations working directly with adolescents in Colombia,” said Siegrid.
The conversation encouraged multi-sector collaboration and emphasized developing results-driven approaches as critical factors in tackling teenage pregnancy effectively. By bringing together a diverse set of stakeholders and leveraging innovative financing models, it is possible to implement targeted interventions that have a lasting impact on the lives of young people. These collective efforts aim to create a supportive environment where adolescents receive the necessary support and resources to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. From Instiglio, we are grateful to Tirando x Colombia for their invitation to participate, we encourage you to follow their social accounts to learn more about their work.
